I worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Research Program Supervisor, Research Program Supervisor, and Research Program Coordinator. Before that, I served as a researcher at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
The day-to-day rigor of research must never obscure its ultimate humanitarian objective. This work is one tier in an overall structure that informs public policy, health equity, patient safety, and medical access. Beyond the precision and the protocol is real-world healing—and the glimpses I get of this healing make this work most gratifying.
