Having entered a clinical trial myself 15 years ago, I quickly understood the importance of bringing novel treatments to the forefront of medicine. It is a passion of mine to be able to offer patients clinical trials as a care option.
Role
I am an R.N. by training and have worked with several research networks to lead clinical teams conducting research. In previous roles, I have worked closely with sponsors and CROs and have direct knowledge of the clinical development process and research operations. As an executive in clinical research for the past 15 years, I have broad experience interacting with medical monitors, development operations, and clinical investigators. I am responsible for managing and coordinating Sunstone's research processes and leading the team in developing the necessary skills to conduct research successfully.
Inspiration
As an R.N., holistic care has always been near and dear to my heart. Understanding our patients’ values and beliefs is as important for the care plan as the symptoms or issues for which they seek treatment.
