Carolina Maggio, MBACP

Clinical Consultant, Supervisor, and Co-Investigator
At the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London, Carolina works as a research therapist and trains and supervises therapists involved in psychedelic research. Carolina is co-founder of Strata, a training and consultation company supporting the evidence-based delivery of psychedelic treatments in healthcare settings. Carolina also facilitates the Maudsley Psychedelic Society’s Harm Reduction and Integration Group, designed psychedelic-assisted therapy training for Beckley Academy, and provides supervision through the Psychedelic Women Network.

Role

Carolina is a clinical consultant, supervisor, and co-investigator at Sunstone Therapies, where she leads studies on psilocybin-assisted therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in women survivors of sexual assault. Her clinical and research work focuses on developing trauma-informed methodologies and protocols that support safe, ethical, and gender-responsive approaches to psychedelic-assisted care.
